Well i removed and checked the ground, wasn't to bad. Yep diaphragm is in correct. Cleared codes and ran the bike, only codes that came back were for the ignition coil and ckp sensor. So i ordered them on monday. CKP will be here today, coil tomorrow. Will give an update when i get them in tomorrow. Gonna do one at a time to see if one effects the other. I wanna thank everyone for their help so far. All great advise, some is the little stuff that can make the biggest difference.

Ok update time for those that might have the same issue in the future.
Replaced each part and took for a spin to see if one might fix all issues. First the coil, heard a difference as soon as I fired it up. Took it for a spin, no more miss, but it stuttered at a red light. Next the map sensor, was able to adjust the idle better without unburnt gas fumes burning my eyes, so that helped. Last the CKP, no stutter at the stop lights, and was able to finally get it idling were it should be. All made a big difference.
Now that everything is fixed, no codes, and running.... oil smoke puffing from rear cylinder, and a vibration before and after hitting gears. Found out it hasn't been running right for a few years. So now for the choice. Break it down and rebuild the 883, or put the used 1200 I have sitting in the corner. All good lessons learned and thank all you folks for the good advice and direction. Kudos to all of you!

Wow. Unusual to have all 3 go bad at the same time. Good job staying on it. Just goes to show a little persistence goes a long way in persevering.

60GUNNER, yep that's what I thought too. The guy said it had been running like crap for the past 2 years. I figured they might have been going out one by one. He only put 1500 miles on it in 2 years. I'm new to the whole electronic bike thing. My rides have been 00 on back to 67. My 09 street glide is factory. I don't know if these sensor's just quit, or they go slowly. Anyway, it was a good lesson.

I had similar problems on the ‘04”R”, went through all that you had done, ended up all my problems were corrected when I pulled the harness connector apart running back alongside the bottom frame rail, cleaned it out, applied dielectric grease and plugged her back in. Amazing after chasing my tail for months with those intermittent problems!
