That's not a leak, it's a peep, less than a weep, but not even close to a seep. After 17 years and probably those crappy HD base gaskets, you're lucky it's just that. Wipe it off and ride. Mine had a weep, borderline seep up front after just a couple years, not a big deal. After owning aircooled VW's for years, that kind of weep/seep is common.

Don't go down the rabbit hole. You're overthinking the entire issue.

See any EVIDENCE of "imploding base gaskets"?
I'm actually running "big bore" breather bolts with NO imploding gaskets. In fact, I don't even have any weeping gaskets. My engine is extremely leak free. Real world results instead of speculation.

I don't care what you are running.
This thread is for the op, he doesn't care what you are running either.
IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT u.

You're right. It's all about YOU as usual.
Just sharing actual experience vs your speculation.
Do you SEE any EVIDENCE of "imploding base gaskets" in the OPs' pics?
YOU said he "may have too much vacuum already". With the OE restricted bolts?
Just the facts...
