Talking Finding those earlie XL motor case half numbers?

Just curious/fun while the bike is on a lift. Looking for the numbers to see if the case has matching sides, and so far not obvious. Maybe they are hidden by frame tubes or the filter oil lines, dunno. Any direction on where to focus? Directly under the crank?

They are on the bottom toward the front. It is easier to see the one on the primary side first. The other side is visible, but is easier to find when you know what you are looking for. Neither will be blocked by the frame tube.

Yours SHOULD begin with 765-XXXX and have the same 4 numbers if they were a pair since original.

P.S. You will probably have to wipe oil and dirt off to see them.
