Default Convert to wide glide front end

Can anyone direct me to triple trees that will convert my front end (98 XLS) to wide glide style using 41mm tubes? I want to run a 16 inch fl type tire on front of my bobber conversion.

Have a look at late model Sportster '48' tripple trees. I am using earlier model '48' trees for my 16 inch wheel conversion on a 2004, but I believe on later models they upped the size of the fork, possibly to 41mm.
Be aware that they are 'mid glide' and the method of holding the bars to the top tree is different, but the 16" wheel will fit. Use a longer axle kit from Vulcan.

Cheers, Will

Default Thanks

I have a set of 41mm tubes, so I’m looking for trees that will fit the tubes and fit the neck of the XL.

Just checked. The later model Sportster '48' has 49mm diameter tubes, so not your answer I'm afraid.
