Default Blast help

Hello all! I am new to the site and have a question for ya. I just purchased a 2004 Buell Blast cheap and want to put the motor in a sporty rigid frame form flyritechoppers, but the man said they have a rubber mount and none of there frames will work. So is he right? I haven't tore the bike appart yet because I want to buy my frame and parts before I tear the bike appart. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would think if they are HIS frames, and HE says they won't work, you would have to take him pretty much at his word. However I'm sure a bit of googling will find what you want. SOMEONE has to make the frame you want.

Thanks guys I got it figured out. I purchased a set of motor mounts form Mark at Crossroads Performace and they will work in any Sporty Evo frame. The custom mounts get rid of the rubber mounts. I purchased my frame and parts from Tim at Flyrite on Friday now I just sit and wait for the parts and then the tear down and mock up begins. For any body reading this and has a Buell Blast they want to put it in a rigid frame give Mark at Crossroads Performance a call at 1-715-247-4747. Only has a few sets left at $450.00 well made and well worth it. And yes I know about Redneck and Diablo but I like Flyrite.

Welcome to the forum from the Netherlands.

Seems like a cool project !

You could consider making a write up with tons of pictures...

Good luck on the build.
