I when I bought my XL883 Standard from a private owner, it came with the OEM solo, OEM two-up and a Mustang. The two-up is not close enough to the 3.3 gal tank for my short arms since it is made to give room for the 4.5 gal tank. The Mustang two-up feels like I'm sitting on a park bench with a 2x4 board behind me. The OEM solo is perfect. But that's just me. I'm vertically challenged with a bony butt.

What is it about Sportster's that makes them so addictive? The more I ride, the more I want to ride.

The amazing thing about Sportster's is that two people can be riding together on totally different styles and each of them thinks that he/she has the best bike. This is the case with my and my riding buddy. Our two bikes are miles apart in design (His is a 1200 Custom with Screamin' Eagles and mine is a totally stock 883 Standard with mid-controls.) and we never talk about either of them in a negative way. We occasionally swap bikes for a short ride and happily get back on our own, smile and keep on ridin'. There is just something special about these vintage, modern bikes.
