Later today I think I’ll begin the tear down, I’ll probably start another thread with pics for anybody that’s interested.
Wish me luck

I started too, seat off, tank off, exhaust off, then stopped cuz “life” got in the way , washer an dryer are dying, my truck has start making a grinding noise from the right front wheel ( I think) and I found out the seals are blown outa my floor jack
Been thinking hard about advice that I got here and priced out parts and I think I’m gonna put her back together and try some straight 60w in it, see what happens , then maybe this winter do whatever it needs, Ive been wanting to put the stock head pipes with crossover that I bought awhile back on it anyway. Just have too find some mufflers that I can afford and go from there.
I’m thinking maybe buying a cheap leakdown tester from Harbour Freight ( all I can afford) and see what that tells me.
