For some reason. He had 2 external hard drives that Mac and Windows could not open and access his pictures. But Linux computer could. Windows software to access the drive was costly.

For me, it has helped tremendously in time management and the soul stealing process of transferring large files. Formatting issues are moot and different operating systems access it without a hitch. ZFS is really the best format to handle over 10 tbs, which at first sound big, but quickly is not and soon one will be looking for a bigger boat
He is basically describing best file compression format for zipping up a bunch of pictures
and sending them to someone else via the internet. Think of it as the best spark plug type of post. But geek talk.

Heat not going away yet. My carb bench work outside is being done in stages.

Harry, thanks for translating Geek into ol guy speak, it helped. Our heat and humidity is back with a vengeance, won’t complain as it will be cold up here soon enough. Planning on doing the “Ohio Meet n Eat” down in Marysville, Ohio next week. Good to get backouton the road again. A pleasant distraction from house rebuilding. Tell the lovely Holly that the jetted tub will be ready shortly!

Yes, took that step a while back. I have a scalable 4 bay, 32GB NAS which backs up my photos and database as well as housing and mirroring all my other media. At the moment my Internet upload speed is not even 1mbps so until the broadband infrastructure finally reaches me (supposedly by the end of this year), transferring large files is quicker by snail mail

Broke open the 100 count Sams Club Mcdonalds Mcafe singles and loaded up the Keurig Coffee pot single shot drawers. That is a bunch. 3 drawers at about 18 per drawer.

Wife is taking the rest to work. For her office single shooter.

Used the re-usable plastic single shot filtration cup for the beans I ground up yesterday.
Edit: That Vahalla coffee is smooth. No acidity .

Having my Black Silk and a bagel.
Also wondering whose bike is in my driveway????

As many might know I have my own MC repair shop out here
in the mountains. Been so freaking busy I am starting to lose my mind.
One day last week I had 14 bikes in the shop. Of course 5 are mine and run but still.

Some more NEOWISE pics and some sky pics from last night. about 11PM MDT
