Default Inline oil filter?

Hi. I have round oil tank but there's' rust inside. And I think I clean it but I noticed that someone who was drilling holes left metal shaving after and didnt grind it so Im scary to use it. Should I make new one or is there any inline filter that wont hurt engine lubrication? Cheers.

Ok....
You have a custom oil tank. Check.
How does a tank full of oil rust?
Where is the rust?
Where did someone drill holes?
Where are the metal shavings?
They didn't grind what?
Should you make a new what?
You already have an oil filter up front. Do not use more than 1 filter in the oil path.

Yeah Ik I have an oil filter but thought there's an option for an inline. There are metal shavings around every drilled hole, return, vent and main cap as well. And that's what's not grinded.

I fear we have some translation problems.
Metal shavings do not need to be grinded, just scooped or wiped away.
If you have metal shavings around any holes in the oil path, that is not good.
There should be NO metal shavings anywhere in the engine in a perfect world else engine damage could result.
Or that could be the result of damage.

edit:
Can you post some pics of this?

Perhaps there may be a language barrier. Sounds like the OP is seeng some remainig burrs left on some drilled holes that he fear swill fall into his tank and contaminate the oil and migrate through the enine.
If my assumption is correct, perhaps remove the tank, deburr the holes, flush the tank and reinstall.
I think most on here would agree, an inline filter on a feed line of a gravity fed oil system is a bad idea.

That’s my interpretation too. And I agree to correct the problem by removing the burrs (if practical) or use a different tank.

Yeah exactly that's burr after drilling. I didn't know this Word. +1 to my vocabulary. Thanks
