thats real close to what i had in mind , mines diamond plate back with thinner aluminum seat pan ,wrapping mine with one of many old leather jacket ,zip ties are a great thing ! ,i fiqure out how to post a pic here ill post my bike ,thanks much

Front end completed. Fresh valve job and fresh 1275. Next is primary and transmission removal and inspection.

Tapatalk app is what I use for posting pics. Super easy. Zip ties, I have stock in zip ties haha
