Hey xlforum, this is a long shot, but here goes. I've been sitting on a set of side shots for my sporty for a good 7+years. I snagged them for a song on ebay, but they had no mounting bracket. I have recently found out from V&H that the bracket (and I'm guessing the exhaust) have been discontinued so I can't get it from them. That being said, I'm hoping someone here might, for some reason, have the bracket laying around. The part number is 374-P.

Or if anyone here has this exhaust on their bike, could you possibly get me some dimensions so I can possibly get one fabricated?

Some users have received PMs from scammers in response to WTBs that they've posted. They tend to follow along these lines, or similar:

"My buddy <name> has what you're looking for, email him on <email address>."

The person sending the PM typically has no posts, and has only just joined the Forum.

There may be a line like this at the bottom of the PM:

"Sent from my TECNO LB8a using Tapatalk"

If you Google a 'TECNO LB8a' (or whatever phone they're using) you'll see that it has a Nigerian origin!




I very strongly recommend that you don't contact the email address.

Please don't reply to the PM either.

Instead please report the PM: cick the 'Report Private Message' button (). Then one of the mods will deal with the scammer.
