Default Replacement Throttle and clutch cables?

Looking for feedback on replacement cables.

I'm going to replace the cables on the 1996. The throttle is frayed and they are all likely original.

There are a lot of options, but which ones give a good service life? Im looking for regular black vinyl style.

I've considered...

Harley Davidson - the originals were good, not sure about the service replacements.

Bikers Choice - claim to be made in the USA, high performance and affordably priced.

Lowbrow/cycle standard. Claim to be Stainless cable.

Motion?

Barnett - expensive, are they worth it?

TIA

Magnums. In black pearl.
Don't ever lube the clutch cable tho. Not necessary and you will ruin it.

I have used Barnett before and liked them. Now I have the magnum shielding black Pearl and like them. For whatever reason they don't get water in them like my chrome braided Barnett's did. I bought a pair of Barnett stealth cables for a friend and he loved them. My Barnett clutch cable was on my bike for about 75000 miles with almost no issues besides water would get down in them from riding through the rain. My Barnett throttle cables were on my bike for maybe 50 or so thousand miles then I had to change to a new set of Barnett cables when I put my mikuni on because I bought the one meant for big twins and changed the cables instead of the throttle cable housing on the mikuni.
But they would dry out after a day or so. I have had my magnum shielding cables on my bike for about
25000 miles now with no issues

I’m finding the Magnum clutch cables at $90 to $100. Throttle cables $50 to $60 What are you folks paying for them?

It's been a couple years and I'd have to look for the receipts but that sounds a little steep. Probably not by much tho.
They are quality cables and made to fit. Well worth the price. But like I said dont ever lube the. clutch cable.

I got all pictured (throttle cable, throttle idle cable, clutch cable, random brake line) for 20 bucks, virtually unused take-offs from a 2005 Softtail...

Sometimes it pays to browse your local Craigslist for motorcycle parts...!

So do I have it correct that any Harley five speed clutch cables will work in my 1996?

Rubbermount, Dyna, softail, etc..?

I found some good pricing on certain Magnum 04’ up cables. The main difference seems the Rubbermount cables have 1/8” more free travel.
