Im pretty sure a compression test is done by turning over a motor. The reason why i ask on how to do it myself is so i can learn and also to make sure for myself the reading the PO is accurate with what i get. I can sell u a motor saying it has great compression but u wont take my word for it right? So i want to check myself everything is and will run fine.

I literally just got the motor a week ago lol so i want to make sure im on good path before i go onto the next steps. I know its gona be awhile before it starts.

Pretty sure he wasn't mocking you Jorgem, just trying to figure out what it is you want to do. It doesn't take long to mount the motor in the frame(if you have someone to help muscle it up and in), then you could hook up the electrics for turning the motor over, or turn it with a socket. As far as doing a compression test, a cold motor, even with a little oil in the cylinders, won't give the same results as when its warmed up.

No I wasn't mocking you,but was curious as how the PO came up with the compression #'s without the motor turning over.Trying to tell you if you believe those #'s then you must believe the motor turns over.
Myself as stated above I'd pull plugs and put some transmission fluid or mystery oil in the cylinders and let it soak for awhile before turning over if I thought the engine maybe seized.Hope you luck on your endeavor.
