Buell, I did the V&H with a twist. I have the same seat in the garage. I cut mine done since it is made for a peanut tank.

Still love the SuperTrapp on my '01 1200S. . . here we are, going into Turn 6 at NHMS, back on the gas, suspension squashed, bellowing gloriously at the Ducatis around me. . .

Always wanted that Supertrapp pipe, recommended by local racer types. Ended up with an Ebayed stock HD 2002 883R 2-1 pipe. It's made for mids but several riders here have adapted it to forwards with just a homemade brake rod and peg extention.

I've been ogling a 2-1 from MotorStage of Japan. seems they make two versions - one steeply upswept and the other less so. Click here and scroll half way down the page. MotorStage also make a nice looking upswept 2-2 system. Their systems have a Supertrapp-style internal disc system, with a reverse cone cover. All these systems seem to be available for rigid-mount and rubbermount Sporties.

Here's the 2-2 in action...
MOTORSTAGE 2-2

lso from Japan is the Bossley Reventon 2-1. There are high- and low-level versions. Low level's no good for me, as it would interfere with rearsets. Again, it seems to be available for rigid- and rubbermount Sporties. A couple of vids...

Bossley High Level

Bossley Low Level

I have no idea how any of these systems perform. They all look like they'll give decent ground clearance. The MotorStage systems look like they'll be pillion-friendly for rubbermount pilots, but I'm not sure about rigid mounts. With the Bossley systems, I'd guess you're flying solo.

Other options include...
Harris Pipes from NZ, who make good looking 2-1 low level and 2-2 high level pipes for Sporties.

K-Factory 2-1 from Japan.

DLIVE Sports Line and Street Line (presumably loud and baffled versions) from Japan. Being both titanium and Japanese, they're expensive. Looks like they're only available for '07-up rubbermounts.
