Default Tour of Honor

Well, I have been doing this for the last couple of years and was wondering how many of y'all do it to. If you don't or haven't heard, it is a Veterans charity that you ride to various memorials get a picture. The buy in is basically a donation to a veterans charity. You get your pick of I think 3. If you have any questions there is a link below.

You may want to list the cities where the memorials are located so non ToH participants can let you know if they want to meet up

Great and thanks for your time and effort. I would have really liked to have made it to the Ride to Meet, I am at sea working the vampire shift until the 19th.
Good point about the cities and towns for the memorials.

At the Ride to Meet it was announced that the 2020 event will be in Gettysburg PA. I am organizing it.

Date to be determined, likely Sept 19 but depends on availability of the location

Next week day pending weather I will be heading from DFW to Glasgow MO. Visit for a day and then back home.
Day one, take Hwy 69 to OK 1 in Atoka OK, continue on 69 to 72 to OK 3 in Coweta Ok, take 51 east back to 69 then cut east on 20 to OK 7 American Legion Post 240 in Salina OK. Bounce over on 20/72 to Arkansas to AR 1 American Legion Post 341 in Bella Vista. Head north on 71/49 from there to Missouri then split off on 7 to MO 4 Pleasant Hill. After that I will head to Glasgow Hwy 7 to east on 70 north again 65 then 240 to Glasgow.

My return trip will start with 240 to 63 for MO 2 in Jefferson City, then south on 54 to 5 to 44 for MO 5 American Legion Post 639 in Springfield. Next on 65 to MO 3 in Ozark. Then continue south on 65 for AR 5 in Harrison, turn west to AR 4 in Fort Smith and high tail it home to DFW.
Of course there will be lots of fuel stops and some picture taking, possible a overnight stay somewhere. Maybe even some straying from the route for better roads.

Sounds like fun. OK6 is actually in the town where my mother grew up and my grandparents lived. My cousin's and uncle's names are listed on the memorial there which is pretty cool. I got to visit that memorial and the area in May when I was in the area, it was great reliving old memories...
