It's raining here today, so an inside day with several mugs of coffee being downed. Very pleased for the rain as we've had very dry conditions for the past six weeks and our firefighters are exhausted.
It's also "Bathurst" Supercars weekend which means I sit in front of the TV all day tomorrow to watch my favourite car race of the year. So yesterday, to get in the mood, I spent some time putting in some laps in the Pony up at Queensland Raceway. Fortunately the rain held off till I got home from that. Not going to make it into the Top 10 shootout any time soon But I did finally break the 200km/hr mark on the short straight: time to upgrade my brakes and tyres

Congrats on your accomplishments, burning rubber is second only to burned powder. Both together are nirvana! Spank that Pony, girl!

Really enjoyed your video, running on a real track, whether two wheel or four, is awesome! Your next trip get on the gas a wee bit quicker before the apex and come out a bit harder, break those skins loose as you drive it out! Yea!!!!

Maxwell house hot and ready. Had 2cdays of fall weather this weekend. This week? In the 90's all week .
Looks like fall is gonna be late down here. More summer is coming.

So far we are 11 degrees above normal this time of year.

I guess we got some of your rain, Harry. Rained hard last night, after a long drought. Looks like it'll hit us again Tuesday-Wednesday, then highs in the 70's and ride the bike!

Morning all! Hit the "Strong" button on the coffee machine this morning. I think it just takes longer to brew when I do that. Help yourselves. Still no yard eggs, cause I still don't have chickens. I'll probably take the wife and hit the flea market this Saturday. Then I'll just pray she doesn't find some huge piece of furniture that she has to chalk paint.

Fred, you love it and you know it, life is good, eh!
We have lost our warm weather with a frost alert posted for last night. Reminded me to disconnect the hose from the outside spigot to prevent any freeze damage. That may be a bit foreign for some of my southern brethren.
Second pot of percolator coffee coming off the stove just now, help yourselves.

It freezes here a bit so I bring the dogs in when that happens. Aint got there yet though. Mostly just in the mornings. Sun fixes that later on.

Coffee is hot. No home made biscuits and gravy today. Just cereal with either bananas or sun-maid raisins.

50degrees felt like freezing on the ride to work this morning. It'll be short sleeves and bungee cords holding the leather jacket on the backrest after work. Coffee in a cup to warm your hands if you need it.
