When I did mine Fred. I started at the rear wheel bearings and worked my way to the rivets on the front fender.

It takes patience. But patience pays dividends when done right.

I just found the switch for the led lights. Bless his heart. Thanks, Roky. I'm putting those covers on my list to watch.

Looks like you have your work cut out for yourself, but it has quite a bit of potential! What's your plans for it once you have everything stripped off and running right? Going back to stock or have other ideas?

I hope it is just snapped off.
That was my first thought when I saw that head bolt missing! Why?!? It can all (probably) be fixed, it just depends on how much effort it will take. I put a Keensert into my case because of my own stupidity. Drilling the hole out is the "fun" part.

Fred, keep us posted with what you find!

I started my tear down, and came to a road block. The intake manifold bolts.

I use Eklind allen wrenches. Sockets and fixed. Also Proto makes good allen wrenches also (I have a set of those also).

I have to get some of the ball end Allen wrenches tomorrow. Maybe while the kid is in volleyball practice

I use ball end sockets. Much easier trying to put leverage on the bolt

That's a much better idea! I assume there's enough length from the socket and the end of the allen part that clearance isn't an issue
