Clean up looks simple compared to my 1980.


I'd replace dry rot wire and maybe shoehorn a terminal strip somewhere in that locale. Encase loose wires with shield stuff for wires

Gut the wiring and go barebones, so much simpler and easier to work on. I have three wires running my whole chop. Now, if you have to have mandatory things such as turn signals and horn that's a different story

That's the plan. I'll have to look up the laws in CA, but i'm assuming i will need turn signals and possibly a horn. Ultimately I want stripping it down is going to be troublesome because of all the spliced wires there is no rhym or reason to color coding. I'll have to do it one wire at a time.
