Default Dry clutch to wet clutch

What’s the best wet clutch to use in a ‘65 xlch, 66” strocker, sifton cams, etc? The bike is used for hill climbing and the wet clutch in it slips.

Assuming you're still using the '65 clutch basket with stock release parts.

I can't speak from experience but the barnett 303-30-10010 that has stronger springs and extra plate looks like it might work for you.

The sintered iron plates would be the best but are supposed to be run dry.

On your hill climber couldn't you put the cover on the hub and run a dry clutch? If you couldn't get a perfect seal you could drain the primary oil between events so it wouldn't be sitting in oil when not in use. Just thinking.

Maybe give Barnett a call for advice. Make sure the 303-30-10010 can be run wet or dry. I think it can.

Read the clutch info here. I'd prefer to run it dry.
