Funny thing, was told by an old mechanic that used to work on some of the HD factory racers and he said they all had Barnett clutches. Not sure if true, but he seemed like a stand up guy.

I have heard good things about the Alto and a few others, but I was familiar with the Barnett from my racing days
IMO it can be true...
on circuit could be an advantage have coil springs actuated clutch... instead of diapghram spring ones...
and if i'm not wrong Barnet have some models like that...

Yes, they do. Barnett Scorpion clutch has coil springs instead of diaphragm. I have one. Works really smooth and easy to keep in adjustment.

1. Year of bike 2006
2. Model 883>1200? Unsure of which exact swap.
3. Miles on clutches? ~30,000 definitely started going a few thousand before I replaced.
4. Fluid used when slipping of clutch began? Revtech chaincase oil. Sportster specific.
5. How many miles on that same fluid? I change my fluids almost monthly. Usually every couple thousand.
6. Did you perform routine adjustments per the service/owners manual? No only as needed.
7. Your riding style: Raped ape aggressive
