I'm with ya buddy! When you start to have a craving, before you go and light up remind yourself that it's just a craving, and it will pass in a few minutes...

It's been 46 hours, and my body and brain are freaking out! It's like I've found sixth gear, but I can't shift back down... ARGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I feel a little better now.

Hang in there, Lynk! A few more hours and that strong craving subsides...while quitting, I tried hard candy at first when I'd get the smoking urge, but actually found that flippin' carrots worked better! Besides being healthier for me, it kept me from balooning up fifty pounds!

And Mr. Jimi...we're all behind you...it sounds like you're getting mentally prepared and that's the ticket to beating that nicotine demon!

Well, last time I quit, I guess I didn't learn my lesson. I went two months, then picked it up again. Anyway, I'm at 60 hours, so the *biggest* cravings should be gone.

Mr. Jimi, it's fun! Go for an IBA (Iron Butt) ride, and just get it over with. lol

I wish you the best of luck, Buddy.

Jim, I wish you the best of luck with this. You can do it! Think of all the money you'll be saving. Being a non-smoker, whenever I happen to notice what the price of a pack is these days I'm amazed.

Keep us posted!

Default Update here

I just counted and I have 8 packs left and when they are gone? I am done, I have cut back to around 15 cigs per day and its not that bad, normally 20 per day.
Thanks for all your support
We can do it
Jim
