It's been twenty-three days now...at first, it was easy. The last week, I've had two dreams about cigarettes (didn't smoke them, but had them in my possession in the dreams). This, too, shall pass, but when I had quit the last long stretch years ago, it wasn't this much on my mind. I'm staying clear of smokers for now because I do not trust myself around them, and I'm lucky that almost everyone I know has already quit. I fervently hope for the wonderful state of mind in which indifference comes again!!! Patience and steadfastness will work, I hope, but I know someone with severe COPD who says she STILL misses it. Good god, I hope that bullet misses me this time.

21 days w/o a smoke.I have a few cravings each day,but they are mental not physical, and not strong at all.I plan on using my savings to buy a Ferrari.

clarke1124 it gets easier as time goes on. You get to the point that you don't even thik about it anymore. Every now and then you will be around a smoker and think "wow a cigarette would taste good right now" Fight it off and eventually it wont cross your mind anymore. I am a worse reformed smoker but not anal.
