Thanks Stevo, I've worked on piston engines in boats, cars, motorcycles and aircraft for almost all of my young life, your approach to jetting is as simple, easy to understand and likely to produce positive results as any I've ever seen. HELP, rejetted w/ #45 slowjet, #165 Main jet, and NOKH Jet needle, mix screw is at 3 1/2 turns still getting carb farts

There is a good article in the May/June '07 Ironworks titled Quick CV Carb Tune-up that goes into rejetting too. Worth a read if you are getting ready to rejet.

Not looking for any sort of 'kit'. The person who is going to tune my bike told me to just go buy a 45 jet and a 185 jet. So I'm looking for the HD parts.
