Default Tomatoes

Anyone grow their own tomatoes? I used to have a garden at my farm but got tired of feeding the deer and other critters. Now I use cattle mineral tubs at my house.

I put planters around my patio and grow veggies instead of flowers. Elevated 2 foot so I don't have to get on the ground to weed, etc (and keep the dogs out).

My flatmate did 20 years ago. We had a greenhouse and she grew tomatoes peppers courgettes and aubergines. They were never as shiny or the same perfect shape as the ones in the shop but they tasted a whole lot better!

We do 3 kind of tomatoes, couple kinds of peppers, cukes, and she put in some green beans this year. Have had at least some of everything but the beans, which are growing well, look healthy, but not producing.

That giant weed growing next the tomato will choke it out for sure.
