I think it matters if you specify a "tire" or "tyre". If you bought a "tyre" but really needed a "tire", you could void your warranty. Be careful out there! (hehehe)

I ordered my Dunlop American Elites from amazon and had a local shop mount and balance them.
After researching, they seemed like the way to go for me. Not cheap by any means but so far I like them a lot.

I always check around because the deals are not consistent year to year and brand to brand.
Two years ago JP had the best deal on Metzeler ME888's for the Sportster.
Last year, Leather Up had the best deal on the Shinko 011 Verge radial tires for the ST1100.

FWIW, after installing ME888's on my Sportster, I would have to be DESPERATE to install Dunlops again!

I've heard the 880s are better than the newer 888s. 888s wear better, 880s stick better. Thoughts on that? Wonder how the new cruisetecs fair.
I was looking at new tires this year but after all I've spent this year on everything else I'm running them down. They're going fast tho with the added power. So I've started looking again.
