Here in N Tejas we hit the 100+ pretty regular. I will rock a Klim Apex Air jacket and HJC RPHA 11 Pro.
After about 98 degrees I will close up all the vents and limit the air flow to the cuffs and neck. It slows down the air enough so that your built in heat exchanger (sweat) will work. There is a good write up on riding in the heat on the IBA website.

I prefer the heat... hate cold rides.

Shorts, flip-flops? NEVER!!!

Usually jeans, army boots & T-shirt on daily short rides with speeds up to 70-80 Km/h. (+- 45 mph) Half helmet.

Leathers on long/organized rides. (Full face helmet)

i rode around my neighbor hood early sunday morning.
i had on my gloves, jeans, t shirt, sunglasses, ball cap.
but i was on side streets at 9am. never over 25mph, and no traffic.

normally im leather head to toe!
i look like an old fat version of that leather guy in the village people.
but hopefully i will get up if i screw up?

This counts no matter what bike you ride. Takes a little trial and error to do it comfortably but it does work.
