Default LED Resistors or Relay Flasher?

I have my LED taillights installed and they don't flash when activated. I've read a couple of contradicting things on this, one I need resistors, two a flash relay will work or solution three that I just need to change all four signals to LED for them to work. The most common solution I've read is that I need resistors so I bought these.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Do I use one resistor for left and one for right, and second question, would changing all four to LED solve this issue without resistors? I have front LEDs but haven't installed them due to the other issues but if that solves it, then it would be great. Followup if I need resistors, when I do install the front do I then need two more for them or can the two for the rear be used? What about a flasher relay, would one of these solve all four turn signal flashing issues?

THANKS!

Hi
yes you need one resistor for each LED light,(but depending on the LEDs you may get away with two, one on each side) from the LIVE to GROUND, fitting the front ones too will not help, you can buy a flasher unit designed for LEDs but it depends on your model, i always use resistors and never have a problem, the value of the resistors depend on the LEDs but the ones you lised should be fine.
If you want to know why you need them, its because the flasher relay works on current draw from the bulbs and as the LEDs draw a lot less current the flasher cannot work properly. 25watt bulb @12v will draw just over 2 Amps,,,,0.36w LED @12V will only draw .30 Amps.
the resistors @6ohm will draw around 2Amps so the will equal the bulbs, the LED current is small enough to go un noticed

As a further note
Some LEDs lights draw more current than others, due to how there made,,thats why there is some confusion in other threads, if you fit the rear LEDs and a resistor for each one and it works then fitting the front LEDs should not require further ressistors

Here's the Sportsterpedia section on the Turn Signals (and LED conversion):
http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...3#turn_signals

Pair two resistors for each side - Connect one side of the resistor pair to the TS signal (which already runs to both bulbs & the indicator) on one side (right or left) - then connect the other side of the resistor pair to ground - This will create the 'load' for the TS Canceller so that it thinks there are still incandescent bulbs in the TS housings... (do the same for the TS signal on the other side)

Since (on each side) the Front & Rear TS bulbs & the Indicator bulb is already wired together, the resistor pair can be located any convenient place that you can reach the TS signal wire (BROWNwire=RIGHT / VIOLETwire=LEFT) and a solid ground... Under the seat is a commonly used location...
