Default Ok 1200 to 1275 for street performance

Gonna help member `Wedge` with a conversion
I want to hear opinions and why on cam choices
There are least 10 different cams that are suitable for this build
Looking for around 120 hp with a 45 Mikuni
Money is almost no object
My own build made 111 UP with some on the table and want this build to exceed that
All ideas and opinions welcome

Another West Coast collaboration, wow am I excited. Can’t help with cam choices as I’m just a low level neophyte!

Just an fyi ... when I first put together my bride's Buell S1W, many years ago, I fitted up an HSR45 and it made about 115hp. Swapped on an HSR48 and it jumped to 122hp with no other changes. For what it's worth.

Talked about this build with him awhile back. Depends on what he's using for an exhaust tho.
Personally I'd give up some more hp in favor of busting 100ft.lbs of torque. Not going to get there AND make 120hp tho.100hp/100ft.lbs would be doable tho.
As for the why, 1 word...usable. Because be honest, how often are you busting 6000rpm on the street let alone 7000?
And busting 100ft.lbs. without going stroker would f'n rock and put a smile on your face.
This is where I was going with my sporty. But that's me.

Give me 90ft.lbs out of the gate right on up to 5500rpm with a little plateau of 100ft.lbs. from like 3700 to 4400.
100+ hp by 6000rpm. That's a nice street bike with power I'd use. 120hp @ 7500 is dyno power.
1275, 570s, ported heads/intake maybe a bigger intake valve and Rush slip ons with 2" MAYBE 2 1/4" HSR45.
