hello

i have a change to buy a patriot defender pipe. but it says it fits sporster 04-14

will it fit my sporster roadster 2017 ? or what is diffrent ?

The later O² sensors are smaller (smaller bungs, smaller threads), so you would have to use adapters. But also: on the '04 - '13 bikes, the rear brake m/c is in a different place (underneath the bike), so an exhaust designed for those bikes might not clear the '14+ m/c on the passenger peg mount.

BTW: it's '04 - '13, and '14+, for the different exhaust arrangements.

The exhaust mount changed on the 2014 Sportsters, the crossover is between the head pipes. < 2013 the crossover is between the mufflers.

The 2014+ Sportsters have 12mm O2 sensors, < 2013 have 18mm.
You would need a reducer bushing from 18mm to 12mm for the O2 sensors.

but the question now is. have some one mountet this pipe and can tell a little bit about the clearance. and try too bend the pipe out ?
