pictures work.
you can get all kinds of fitting from russel. i converted years ago so i only have to worry about hose and not fittings, sourced from amazon and was reasonably cheap.

Are you talking about the issue I had with my ‘81 IH? All the brake lines had automotive style flare endings. The thread on the fitting is 3/8-24, the same as a an SAE banjo bolt. I just had to very carefully drill the m/c and calipers to deepen the hole and get rid of the female flare piece. Used a combination of brake cleaner and compressed air to get rid of all the aluminum shavings. Now I can use standard and easily available lines and fittings (that work with both 3/8” and 10 mm banjo bolts.

Make sense. I could explain it better with photos.

Ebay is a great place for pics and low priced fittings and lines. Adapters to match anything to anything else (US to metric, brake line flare to anything else) are plentiful.
