Default Sparkplugs & Sparkplug Wires

I noticed I'm getting sparks around the spark plug wire boot upon starting .. assuming I need new wires and might as well get plugs as well .. any suggestions on a good set

A friend of mine has the same, identical bike as I do. He has run 3 different brand sets of spark plug wires on his before going back to the "original" set, that came with the bike. The aftermarket sets only seemed to last 1-2 years before problems started with them. I've been running the "original" spark plug wires that came on mine and have never had a problem with them. I expect to replace mine with factory replacements, when the time comes. (so far 13 years and counting)

I´ve been using the Magnecor for over 6 years now with no problem whatsoever... they are truly good wires.

I'm running the Taylor 8mm. The ones with the pistol grip I think they call them on the plug end. They've got a real defined positive engagement on the plug. Its all my local indy carries because of the lack of any issues.
NGKs on the plugs.

Another one for the Taylor/Sumax wires. My only complaint was the "stock" length ones were a bit longer than I would have liked. Other than that they're phenomenal. Next time I'm just getting the universal kit and setting the length how I like it.
