Right side is my problem side. Again today I went left of center because I couldn't turn tighter to the right. I was doing the racer lean through an S curve and not even going stupid fast. Left curve was smooth but on the right the bike wouldn't pull tighter.
I wonder if the throttle being on that side has some effect?
Come to think of it, most tight turns are to the left (in the US). U turns, cul-de-sac, that sort of thing. Get more practice on that side.

Unfortunately, this area does not provide many places for practice.
Think of graph paper and you will have north west Ohio.
Next time out, I may pause in an empty parking lot and do some slow leaning circles to work on the muscle memory.

My bad side is my left: the fear of cornering and some asshat coming in the opposite direction crossing over and hitting me head on....then learning the technique of countersteering has helped a lot, the fear of two lane roads scare the crap out of me, especially if it's a road Ive never ridden.

When I got my suspension set up the way I wanted it, I went to a big open parking lots and did figure 8's in both directions to learn the lean angles and find my comfort zone. I don't feel like I have a "bad side" anymore, at least on this bike. Problem is there's too much straight road and slow traffic and THAT brings out my personal bad side.

Well, two and a half years and 10k plus miles on since my last post.
Having done some figure 8s and right turn practice has helped.
The biggest thing I've found in turns is looking ahead in the turn.
It's been stated before, this is the most important thing in a curve.
Your bike will go where you are looking. Need to turn tighter? Look further up the curve.
It's not all that simple but it is a primary consideration.
