Gene: I think I was hearing the sweet sound of the Vincents as they were working their way backwards at the start of the race. That stroker pulls like a tractor, just like a street bike, kick it into the next gear and let it go. Lots of trouble on the shifts ? Love the sounds coming out of that thing. Well done! have a pint through your mask for me.

Shifts are really good at the moment.

I can hear the bike over top of everything else down the back straight. The poor passenger hangs over the right side with his ears just inches from the end of the pipe.

The poor old Vincents actually make more HP but they don't have the torque.

We spend a LOT of time accelerating out of corners. Torque is the answer.
