Default 4valve heads

howdy, my name is steve. you have probably seen my posts if youhave read all this thread. there sure is alot of good info here. i have an evo with the heads on it i am currently doing a little top end work on. we are on the evo thread if you haven't found it yet a link is posted on this site to take you there. i haven't heard from kaz for a long time now. i hope everything is good with him. he is great help esp on sportster stuff. i know where there is one complete top end setup for evo sportstster that is for sale if you are really interested. it is from the old rpm company that isn't in business anymore. unless you find one on ebay or somewhere it is probably the last one that will be available new for who knows how long. noone is making any at this point and i doubt there will ever be anyone selling them again. anyway good luck. if you are interested in them or are looking for parts email me at pattisteve1@aol.com. or pm me. good luck steve

sure is quiet over here. we are having good discussions on the vtwin forum on some evo 4 valve stuff. here is a link http://www.v-twinforum.com/forums/ev...motors-19.html

i just bought a bunch of 4valve parts. from complete top end sets to most of the parts needed to work on these heads. they upgrade very nicely to beehive valve springs. i just did the upgrade on mine. anyone needs parts give me a shout at www.pattisteve1@aol.com happy trails steve

i have a question maybe someone can help me with. i have some evo sportster 4 valve top end kits i am putting together for sale and i am unfamiliar with the way the engine mounts in a sporty. do they have a motor mount that goes to the front head or is that something buell did just on his bikes? thanks for your help

howdy, i am looking for evo and sportster rocker arms to purchase. especially the #1 for the evo. i recently bought a large amount of feuling parts and that is something i am a little short on. i am putting complete headsets together for sale. also i need some slides for the plenums. i do by the way have some plenums that fit the sportster. if anyone needs some parts or knows of any for sale i would appreciate you letting me know. i have started using a different email acct. it is pattisteve2@gmail.com thanks

howdy all, i haven't visited this site for a while. i just got finished redoing my top end and have a few hundred miles on it. it is big twin evo, not sportster, but i used the beehive spring setup that jmam and kaz have suggested here. i just want to say that i used the compcam springs and retainers. spring 26113 and #774 retainers.it took out 14 grams of weight from the valve spring side and about half the spring tension. i think taking out the spring weight is crucial if using stock cases. both springs tension together are now about the same as a 2 valve application. the motor now spools up much faster and smoother than it used to. just thought i'd give a report. steve
