Right on Tomcatt, wrangle an invite out to Hammer land in Idaho-ho, scrutinize and report back to us.

You can really see where the 560's are killing the bottom end below 2800 RPM, but that's not much of a sacrifice to see the torque jump right up there and stay strong to 6200. That's all within the riding range of most people.

I was as surprised as anyone that the bike doesn't feel as bad as that chart (and my expectations) were. I rode to LA this morning (Vernon) and was in the usual LA traffic on surface streets. The bottom end doesn't suffer at all to where it's noticeable.

Where the issues show, and it's where I expected them to show, is starting when the bike has sat a while and the charge may not be perfect. It only has about 120# of static compression, but once it fires up and the air gets moving, it will put a grin on anyone's face. After a cold start like that, it starts perfect every time unless it sits for a few weeks again. (I still prefer my Roadster, so it sits quite a bit).

How about you build a decision tree?
You have a '17 Sporty right?
Do you have a tuner, free flow a/c, Patriot defender exhaust or something, that is stage 1.
Second step is cams, that is a big jump off point, tells you what the next steps are.
New bike, might want to get comfortable with your riding choices, seat, bars, bags, etc.
That is a lot of time and money right there.
Some choices are not satisfying, that is why reading here and there can help avoid that.
Remember, your ride, your time and your dime, make it yours.
Maybe, like Wedge, you need another bike or 2.

A 2019 Roadster. Personally I would call it an investment in "Mr Roadster".

Anything you do will just make that silly grin get bigger. My 05 Roadster is by far the bike I have been working towards my entire life. My Custom is quicker, but the Roadster is the one I ride most. Actually that situation has forced me to pursue more power out of the Roadster.

Do you have a picture of the bike posted in one of the threads?
