Up to 2003, the VSS sent it's signal to the Speedo directly - 2004-later, the VSS goes to the ICM and the ICM communicates 'Digitally' to the Speedometer...

I think the confusion about digital speedometer and analog speedometer is that it is an electronic speedometer with an analog sweep. Am I right or just the only one who is confused???

Successfully installed the tach using the single fire rev adapter with 2 diodes & 2 resistors. Thank you to all who tried to help me get the HD version to work!
