Rerouting my primary vent hose per HD by battery box. It's a 2000 and puking oil out the vent badly

Those hoses had a tech bulletin issued, they tend to droop down creating a pocket that accume latest oil then pukes, the cure is to lift it and rescue it, easy peasy. My 2000 hasn't had an issue with it since 2004, when we were out toBike Week Phoenix.

Rerouting the damn thing is more troublesome than I expected. Removed a bunch of parts and the hose still doesn't want to pull through at the bottom to run it up the left side. I might buy a new hose and clamp and just remove the old one if that's doable

I was following the tech bulletin by removing battery and tray etc but those hoses are clustered tight at the bottom

I replaced the battery that was in the bike I bought last year. It was dated 2001, and it was an Interstate battery.
