The winter project has begun. I pulled the motor today, partially because of this motor mount. I think the term "cracked" is an understatement for this thing:

That is what happens when the motor is not mounted correctly.
I have posted here before regarding this and it is too long to repeat.

This happens often enough that it should be in the Wiki.

You only need to remove the top two. You can leave the bottom one alone.

OOPS, I just repeated the info of post 10.
That's still 2 more than I've been able to extract thus far. I started at the top one, and all I've managed to do so far is to strip my jam nuts. Been heating the case too. Tomorrow I'll see about getting a stud extractor. I'm hoping there is enough room for the impact type, but it might not fit.
