Default Advanced notice

Geeting fellow forum members,

I gave up trying to find a credible mechanic down here in Miami to do my build. Today I walked into the store I bought my sweet Sportster from, and the owner offered me exactly what I paid for it plus - way too easy to pass up financing, a full detail and delivery so I bought a '04 Road King with 30K miles on it. Looks new. Tons of upgrades, stereo, true duals, full tour pack, air shock lowering rear shocks. apes, and a list of other things that escape my mind at the moment. I take delivery Tuesday.

This is just a notice in advance of my formally posting a classified ad in the Classifieds section of the site and fully keeping with the forum protocols.

My son and I will be taking photos and posting all of the following for sale in the classifieds here on the forum in short order, and in respect for the forum rules will not actually accept a payment for anything until its listed according to the rules.

But in the spirit of full disclosure this is what I'm going to sell. There is a lot more stuff, but this is what I just pulled off the top of my head. Everything will be priced to sell. First come first serve. I may offer a trade discount for something I can use for the new bike.

I have all brand new bought from Hammer:

New 04+ 1200 stock beehive spring heads - new build by hammer
Complete 1250 kit 04+ big fin kit flat head pistons
Complete Dyna Twin Tech programmable ignition
Single fire coils set
Hammer 570 cam set
White Brothers 2 into 1 exhaust. Like a SuperTrapp but way better.
New 04+ oil pump and bronze rotor
Mikuni 42 easy kit
Hammer 3" AC kit
Jims Roller rockers
New push rods
Telescopic push rod tubes
HD 2001 Sportster Shop Manual
HD 2001 Sportster Parts Manual

Complete disk brake kit
21" 60 spoke front wheel
Mint Leather Hollywood Solo seat
Mint HD 2001 Sportster Solo seat
Multiple sets of bullet signals
Lane Splitter Mini Apes 9.5" high
EMD Ribbed Rocker Box Covers

Sounds like you got a nice bike.

Lots of good stuff, too bad I don't need because you are right near me...

How the heck do you live en mijami? lol

I'm from Coral Gables, second generation native. All my family is gone from there now

It was a fun place to grow up though

I was looking forward to seeing you put all that fine hammer stuff onto your sporty

You get a BAGGER!? Enjoy!

Hey Brother, nice to hear from you. Well, I kind of think I'm on a five-year plan then I'm hopefully going to pull up stakes and head north and west somewhere probably a little northeast of North Port.

I'm sick of it down here. My wife changes the channel whenever the news comes on. My blood starts boiling.

Anyway, yes, the road king is pretty nice. Getting it dialed in and all the necessary checks done on it. New fluids soon. My first big twin, bagger. I was surprised. I thought these things couldn't get out of their own way, but this thing moves very well. I suspect it has had some tweaking, but I don't know exactly what yet. It's pretty rude, loud... and it has true duals with unbaffled Rienhardts.

I'll post pictures soon. I'm listing all the big bore kit stuff now, cams, heads, cylinders all the frame stuff like the springer front end and a ton of other stuff.

I think I'm up to like 25 Buy, Sell & Trade ads already. Wish me luck - all that stuff will pay this new bike off.

Hey there, my younger Brother. Ya know a good wrench in Dallas, TX. The one with the 07 105" 100Hp, 125 Tq Dyna. Come to think about it, Dallas, TX is a "little Northwest" of Miami, FL. I'd even let ya know where the FREE VEND hidden button is on my BEER Vending machine.
