They were inch initially til I had them bent and was fitting it. I then cut them back to 1/2" and the side with the fitting got cut again to about a 1/4" for clearance of the fitting. I started out with a piece 5x2 and bent an inch on each end and cut 5/8 off the bottom of each flap. The cover tapers in and down at that point and I roughly 45'd it from there down to bottom. Took the dremel to all the edges and rounded the corners slightly too. It was tight to the bottom but I took another 1/8 off because it was just flush with the gasket surface and dropped it slightly. I wanted a good fit but it's not meant to be sealed. It's a splash guard.

I was just thinking I like the lower position you have.
The exact dims will be determined by the bend itself also.
But the ones you provided look to be a good starting point.
Thanks.

That's exactly what it was too. There was some final minute trimming with the dremel tho mostly unecessary.
I'm anxious to get it up and running. When I hooked the krankvent up to the breather hoses off the heads briefly I immediately noticed a difference in how it ran and sounded at idle and seemed to rev easier. Like it was less labored and it had a deeper note.
Others have noticed the same thing using it. I'm not buying the 2-7% up increase however I believe it may run more efficiently. They claim a a slight negative pressure under the pistons is possible but who knows. Be great if it did.

Gunner.
Thats is about how i set my baffle plate. The first one i placed was like the first version of Demius mod. Than i went a bit deeper in center of baffle plate to contour more to the cam case. The first baffle seem to let a little more oil get to the fitting. This fixed mine so you probarbly will not need to redo.
Actually i think i sent this information to you in a recent previous post where i mention this mod seem to lessen the aeration/foaming in the oil tank.
I still get a drop or two from the end of hose that comes off the end of krank vent, which i expect.

Confused about the science in that.
You would probably have to use a Crankcase Check Valve, like the ones Drag Racers use on Drag Cars.

That's what this kvp38 is. The original ETSE was made by ET Performance and Racing. Someone here is IS running it to the exhaust. It pulls a vacuum on the crankcase.
