Default Crashed my sporty today :(

got stuck in busy traffic goin about 20mph and the women in front of me decided she wanted to teach me a lesson for being to close. Well i learned a painful lesson that's probably gonna haunt me forever. I clipped the rear end of her honda crv put a small scuff on my fender think my body did more damage then the bike did too her car. then as i was picking my self up she replied with "thats what you get for riding to close" gotta love some people so now i gotta pay for her damage my bike is fine good thing had my friend whos a harley tech look it over then went on a 100 mile ride right after now im starting to hurt lol

Glad ya didn't go splat! I got hit by a SUV that suddenly changed lanes and punted me into the back end of a stopped Civic hatchback. The woman in the SUV (on the friggin' phone!) drove off like nuthin' happened.

I was doing at least thirty mph when I hit the Honda. I squared up the bike just before impact, hard on the brakes to no avail. I flew over the bars and destroyed the rear end of the car with my body, busted the window, crumpled the metal and cracked a couple of ribs. The bike's wheel made a neat V-shape out of the bumper. The older woman whose car I hit gave me a hug and asked if I was okay. She was sooo sweet! When I asked about all the damage to her car, she said, "It's alright, hon. It's a rental and I really don't care."

I picked my bike up and looked at the bent forks. Oh crap, that's about seven degrees from straight, bent right at the lower fork tree. Rode her home - very carefully! - with my right side hurtin' bad. Swapped out the fork tubes and back to the freeway battleground!

Leave the scar on yer fender as a reminder. And check the front end carefully for any damage.

Life is short. Ride hard

That's the way of the world today, if the "hitter" can still move at all they make a run for it.

Geez. I won't go into all the ridiculous stuff I see drivers do.
Hopefully, learn from it and Ride On!

Not sure what state your in, or how they assign blame, but I would talk to a lawyer about that. Her stating that's what you get, might be enough where she pays for hers, you for yours. Some states work like that.

Not busting your chops here...........but you obviously were too close.....or not prepared for her $hitty stunt. Bikes do stop quicker than cars.......if you're paying attention!

Glad you didn't get really banged up!

The crash is not the problem, it is the instant stop. I smashed my balls on my tank so hard they were tennis purple tennis balls the next day. It was not so good.
