Yeah, they have great low and midrange torque. Mine are pretty loud when I twist the throttle but not tinny loud. I'm a 1250 with cams and I think they've gotten a little louder since I put them on. Really well made and no sign of any discoloring on my chrome ones.

OK, all good now. The high temp copper sealant did the trick. I always had to use that in the past when putting slip-ons on various sport bikes or dual sports. I don't know why in the world I tried to mount them without it. The slip fit is different from the typical slips I've seen in the past. Most have multiple slits around the pipe. These are designed just like the stock mufflers with only two slits in like an offset pattern.
