Go to Ebay, search for battery for Sportster 2005 and find Motobatt for £50.00 or less, my experience with them has been really positive.

I purchased a Motobattt two seasons ago (2018), cost was around $80 (US). It fit perfectly and works great. I don't think you can go wrong with a Motobattt replacement.

I bought motobatt 2 years ago and don't use a battery tender,I do use the bike regularly
though unless its frosty or icy out.The only thing I didn't like was the terminals don't
come right to the edge of the battery so had to use washers to space .I also moved the
negative lead to the rear of the primary so the battery is easier to remove in future.Next
battery will be moco one if it needs replacing at any time.

+1 Mostly get 7 years with tender on them.
Lead acid batteries will reach their maximum design life if kept fully charged over their lifetime.
