Changed to Bel-Ray 20 weight and Progressive Springs up front.
Always had a vibration-free ride but the change made an even better ride.
Progressive 440HD 13.5" shocks are arriving this coming week. Have to see how they do.

I've changed to 10w since I voted. It gives me a less harsh ride and still provides enough low speed damping for chassis control.
I currently weigh 173lb.

I packed my front forks with lard, but I now have to admit that the suspension is a little hard for my liking.

With my progressive spings in the front I'm running HD 15 wt, opps you say HD don't make 15 wt, they do if you mix equal parts of SE (20 wt) and stock oil (10 wt), works real well in mine.

I started with 15wt. then 10wt. and ended up going to 7wt. I weigh about 190lbs. The 7wt. gives me the smoothest all around ride. I use a little over 1oz. more in each leg, never bottoms out just smooth riding.

I first tried Belray 15w but at my 155 lbs. found it too stiff. I'm now running Amsoil medium 10 and the front end feels a lot better. I may try 7w in the future to see if it is any better.

I went to Works Performance dual rate springs and the SE HD oil....I think it's 30 wt. I thought it was ok until the temp dropped below about 80 degrees When it was in the 40's....it felt like rigid tubes
WAYYYYYYYY too stiff. Went back to 7-1/2 oz of the OEM and 3-1/2 of the HD....Much better I have since changed forks to the "S" forks and whatever came in them is what I am running.
Like XLXR mentioned....get the springs right then adjust the dampening to suit!
Good Luck

Bel Ray 15w and Progressive springs.
I will change to 10w next to see if I get smoother action over RR crossings. RR tracks seem to be the only "harsh" causing situation I get with 15w. If the 10 makes a difference it stays.
