also considering primary and final drive configurations, think ive figured out a way to utlize the wheels 41T sprocket, run a 19t front sprocket and Madnss has come up with some 30T xr crank sprockets. final drive would result in a 2.16 top speed 138, thinking this may be the route ill go, just more time and $$ lol..

Ya they do some awesome packaging, then even scrapped the huge container I sent my bottom end in, and sent back in a way more secure container and zip tied shut like 50 times haha, True top tier customer service no doubt

Matt, really sorry to read this. Just catching up on your dramas, and my initial reaction was "why's it back with Hammer?", so went back a few pages till I found the answer.
Saddened to see it's down; even more with the latest shipping issue escalating it all. The guys at Hammer are great about helping us get them back to a FUN state again. But, yeah, I get the "other" feeling that you are experiencing right now too, the deflated, "suck it up till it's all good again" feeling; nothing fun about that one, but it is what it is. We can't undo it, only learn from it. All the best.

Thanks trace, wasn't gonna be a big deal until the cylinders got damaged lol... Its ok though the bike won't be ready soon either way.. Still have a lot going on with the chassis and everything else, would of been nice to be able to button the motor back up in the meantime though..

Sorry to read that Matt, but i know it won't stop you!!
thing's like that happen but odd's would be like 50 to 1.
over the years friends of mine have had many sets of Barrels shipped out ( or down under ) to Australia always send UPS from Axtell.
a friend with a Sportster & myself with an old tuber Buell have just ordered two sets of 88" Axtell cast iron barrels & pistons both carb bikes, we both like to do our testing at the drag strip like you & ride to the track & anywhere else. Just hope our Barrels make it over undamaged. we are both looking forward to having fun at the track as speed limits in Australia too low & inforced with speed camera's. but at the track no limits. hope you get your house quick then get your bike back to the track!! best of luck.

Yea it sucked, but I found a solution and placing the order for new cylinders today.. Also got our offer accepted on the house we want so things are about to get really hectic around here lol... Goal is to have motor parts back by end of week and back together by this weekend

Haha yea it's pretty much spring time here in Texas now and racing has already started so I need to get a move on it! Lol.. Well see how it goes.. Plan is end of April early may right now to be completely done and testing..
Luckily I have the Buell XB12 to ride on the street, so it's not killing me to bad l, but damnitt I wanna race! Haha
