Took the bike out for it's maiden voyage last night for 1 mile. It feels very different! Even being easy on the throttle and rpms it wants to move.

Yeah you are going to love it. I rode mine yesterday and had a blast. Today its raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock. No riding.

I backed down the engine displacement due to how rich the bike ran last night. The snow melted long enough for me to get a 2 mile ride in. The bike is running good.

Verified no leaks and now I can't wait to get these break in miles over with!

Yeah I remember I had to do that as well. Aaron worries about being too lean on break in. I ran mine some and pulled the plugs and it was too rich so I backed the displacement down a bit. Plugs looked much better. I use NGK 8 plugs. He recommends 9s but 8s work better for me.

The bike was running so rich that the rpms would not fall after I would roll off the throttle until a few seconds after.

It's still quite rich so I feel comfortable that I'm not getting too much heat. The rpms now drop when I am off the throttle.

I was able to get 22 miles in today.

Averaged 11 afr for both cylinders. Head temp heat stayed in the 300-315 range.

Hopefully the target tune package arrives soon so that I can start auto tuning.

I have now driven 111 miles on the motor. All is good so far. Target tune will arrive tomorrow. I emailed my tune to Dynojet to have them enable my tune.

I did my first basic auto tune session today. Aaron warned me that the bike would run funky but holy hell I didn't realize it would be so bad that I didn't think I would get out of my neighborhood. Once it warmed up it ran a little better. After applying the changes the bike ran really well. Still rich and cool but much more predictable idle and light throttle response.
