The serial data connection to the TSM is to compute distance traveled for auto-cancel. The only TSM function other than turn signals is TSM position 9 output to starter relay.

Debris on VSS may cause erratic speedo.

Ixl2relax

Yes it is right there where you said. Thanks

SportsterDoc Thanks for adding to the elimination process. I will now check all the wiring to the CKP.

I was checking spark by cranking the bike to start .
both ignition module fire after about 10 revolution.
There seems to be a greater delay before it fires.
I'm going to check it again just to make sure that is what I saw.

I'll report later.

Hello So the wire on the CKP are good, i have continuity from under the bit to the ignition connector.
Wires from connector to the plug for the coil are good.
I'm going to start checking the other connections.

Ixl2 relax thank for that Info I going to review it carefully.

Were you able to verify whether the STOCK ICM causes the engine to run differently than the DSPT?

Your previous post seemed to indicate that both modules ran the engine the same way... That both were OK and did not produce an error code... Can you confirm?

Hi Ixl2relax:

The bike starts with both stock Icm and Dspt . DSPT is alway giving me the U1255 code. No code with stock.
Next step is a test ride .

Good new the TSM works. I had taken it out of the bracket and it was laying on its side to cleaning the connection. I could not get the engine to crank to check fire. As soon put it back in place it turned over.
