Default Dynojet Pain ...

We just got word that the new list price on a Power Vision is $777.77. Ouch!

Street price is about $700 now, up from the $480 range just a few days ago. We were selling them for $475. We'd be way, way underwater if we sold them for that now.

In a "normal" year, price increases come in during the first month or two of the year. Then they stay pretty stable, there are a few small increases here and there that occur, but not that many, and they tend to be minor.

Not this year. Seems like practically every day, our suppliers are raising prices, forcing us to do the same. This is the biggest one we've seen, though.

I sure hope this ends soon. But it's not looking like it.

Sorry to hear this. This second PPF Tax is being applied to & stressing almost all small businesses everywhere - the suffering will continue....

They do have a new PowerVision 4 for the 2014+ Sportsters that has a list price of $411.

Bluetooth with apps for IPhone and Android.

The Power Vision 4 does not have auto tune yet, this is something we are working on though

The price went down to $370.

The power is in the app as far as the user is concerned. If you lose nothing compared to PV then that is a huge price difference.

Not sure but I wonder if it can replace PV for dyno work else it is maybe a FP3 killer for the guy who just wants a canned stage 1 tune.

Ability to purchase licenses makes this even better.

ETA: Just read most of the manual. If you know what you are doing then you can use an optional PC program to edit the tune by getting it from cloud account, upload back to cloud, download with app on phone and flash to bike.

I hate trying to do anything on my phone so that is a huge plus.

Auto Tune is now supported on the PV3, although the wide band tuning add-ons (Auto Tune Pro and Target Tune) are not yet supported.

As such, we've made this the default tuner included in our 2007+ 883-1250 and 883-1275 complete conversion packages, resulting in a price decrease of $280 on those packages. An optional upgrade to the PV1/PV2 is available for guys who want the top-shelf tuner and are willing to pay the extra for it.

We've created a step-by-step guide to bringing up the PV3 on our kits. Should answer most all of the questions we routinely get.

Hopefully Dynojet will get the wide band options supported soon. We're told they're working on it. But honestly, most of our customers simply take the tune we provide, perform a few narrow band auto tune sessions using the stock sensors, achieve a perfectly satisfactory tune, and never take it any farther. And the PV3 can do that just fine. So we more or less expect most customers to go with the PV3 and the cost savings.
