And yeah. I'm certain to enjoy it. How can anyone go wrong with Hammer parts, George's calculations, my blueprinting and the team we have right here to put it together?

We have a good group here, and I can't wait for the day we get going on this. Working with these guys is as much fun as riding, and aside from helping others I expect this to be my last personal build.

If I can help in any way let me know. I have some parts just taking up space and I don't think we are that far apart.

Thanks Bryan. We will see where it goes, but I think most if not all of the parts are accounted for. The only hold up right now is waiting for the heads jugs and pistons to come back from Hammer. Once we get those and George cc's the heads and pistons we will know what cams are going into it.

After tear down we will see if it needs a crank. George has a Buel crank on the shelf if it comes to that. I'm riding that bike today, and it feels good as always, I just get concerned with all the "harley noises" it makes.

You are welcome to drop in for the build of course, I know George would be happy to meet you. I will also let you know when it's up and running. Heck, if you like I will find time to ride out to Arizona so you can take it for a ride. I'm sure it will either put a smile on your face or kill you with a smile on your face. Been trying to get out that way for a lotta years now, have made it into northern Californica but time constraints,(that and a tore up shoulder awaiting surgery for a year), made it not happen. Now the couple trips to Lake Havasu were the better choice as your state is no way as wide as it is long. That being said I was close to Sportsterdoc but it still never worked out.
One day for sure, just need the planets to align!

Retired Feb 2017 (age 70). Company closed May 2017.
Mom passed away (91) Oct 2017 and Dad Mar 2018 (91).
My last trip to SoCal was Apr 2018.
Not expecting to return in the foreseeable future, but invitation appreciated.
Hope George is getting good use of Cosmo Kramer's schematics. I mailed them to him and did not get a chance to meet him.

But do want to know about your build.

Expect to take the Ryker to central Arizona some time in September. Looking forward to taking it on 89A over Mingus Mountain from Prescott to Clarkdale, via Jerome.

Let me know next time you head west.

Let me know too. If work allows, I will run out to Arizona to meet up with you guys. Maybe I can get a couple of others to join in? Hard to say, we all like to work on the bikes around here, but as far as riding goes, we are all a bunch of loners. Actually I may be the worst in that regard. Nothing I like better than grinding out miles while residing inside my own head.

I’m with you on that Pete, and that Arizonia meet up could develope into a “West Coast Meet n Greet”? My friends are selling the house in Lake Havasu and probably moving back to the Tennessee area, could be I’ll be needed to help with this move as well.
