I'm real curious about the inertia action.

When it comes to guns, it is hard to beat Italian Craftsmanship. Afterall, Beretta is the oldest continiously running company in the world.

That statement may no longer be true.
The instructors at my range shoot guerini now. Traditional design but with accurate machining.

A friend of mine shot trap for the Army. He also shot live pigeons in Europe. He used an Ithica 4E single barrel trap gun.

Sporting Clays is the best clay game, 5 stand is fast and furious, skeet is fun and laid back...Trap is for old cantankerous bastids that bitch and moan about every rule, perceived breakage of and in my opine...must be beaten by their wives on a daily basis to present such curmudgeonly behavior. The game is a long gun presentation and helps with SC site pictures, but most that i shoot with are just assholes. It takes them 2 hours to put most of garb on and then they bitch about the " pull " delay or get all shitty if i shoot from a low gun position.

I don't hunt from a mounted stock when in the field, why would i break clays that way?
I shoot skeet from International low gun...the stripe is on my hip per regs.

Here is an old pic of my long guns.

The ones I shoot skeet and trap are
" Bone Collector " Remington 870 nitro mag cammo looking one on bottom .
Mossberg 500 20 gauge 3rd from bottom
Stevens 320 12 gauge with adjustable Savage super choke 4th
Mossberg A500-AH 12 gauge 5th from bottom. This is my favorite trap / skeet gun with high rib sight rail and long ass barrel
Remington 870 Versa Max semi auto gas piston chambered in 3.5" will shoot 2 3/4" but it doesn't like it.
Winchester Defender SXP chambered in 3.5 but will shoot mini's as well as all others sizes. NOT for trap or skeet .. no choke 18" barrel

The rest are just pop guns..
I did have a nice Benelli Nova 12 gauge as well but lost it in a shooting match
